Tips for Editing Your Team Page

When you start a team at the Stadium Summit, a Team Page is automatically created for you on our GoFundMe Pro site.

You’ll use this page to invite others to join your team, share why your cause matters to you, and track your progress toward your goals.

A strong Team Page helps people understand why they should join you—and makes it easy for them to say yes.

  1. Start by removing the instructions we left for you (seriously!). It sounds obvious, but it’s the thing that people most often forget.
  2. Delete the brackets […] around any text you’ve updated and decide if you want the text to remain bold.
  3. Make your story personal: People join people and stories – not just teams. Basically write like you’re sharing with a friend – not like a school essay.
  4. Add a strong photo of you or one that’s connected to your cause.
  5. Be specific with your goals to make things real and motivating!
  6. Make your WHY easy to connect with: why you chose this cause, why it matters right now, why others should care too.
  7. Make it easy for people to say YES! Highlight perks of joining and remind them they are getting a fun, community experience and bonuses like swag, food and community service hours. If you’re not fundraising then make it clear that this is optional.

If you’re also using the personal fundraising page that was created for you, then apply tips 1-6.

Can I have a table at the event to share resources about my cause?

Yes—if you’d like to share resources related to your cause, we’d love to support that. Connect with your Positive Tracks Coach ahead of time so we can plan space and make sure everything is set up for you.

How do I invite people to join me?

Start by sharing your Team Page link.

You can invite people by:

  • Texting or emailing the link directly
  • Posting it on social media
  • Talking to friends, teammates, or classmates

When you invite people, share why this matters to you—that’s what motivates people to join.

Your Positive Tracks Coach can help you with these suggestions and other creative ideas.

How many people can I invite to join me?

There’s no strict limit—you can invite as many people as you’d like.

Set a team goal that feels doable and then invite people who you think would enjoy being part of the experience.

If you think you’ll have more than 100 people, touch base with your Positive Tracks Coach so we can make sure we’ll have everything they need!

Do people I invite have to fundraise?

No, fundraising is not required to participate.

People can join your team just to show up, move, and be part of the climb. Donating is also optional.

How do I set a climbing goal?

Great question! This is where you can get creative and challenge yourself and your team. The most important thing is to choose a goal that feels achievable and safe for you and your team.

The stadium includes:

  • 31 levels of concrete seating
  • 37 sections

Most participants go up the larger seating steps and come down the smaller steps between sections.

Ways to set your goal:

  • Complete all 37 sections one time
  • See how many full rounds you can complete in a set time
  • Set a time-based goal (e.g., 30–60 minutes of climbing)
  • Add a personal challenge (like pushups or bear crawls)

Very experienced climbers can complete all sections in about 20–30 minutes, but your goal should match your own pace and experience.

What should I wear?

Comfortable athletic clothing and supportive shoes. Dress for the weather, since the climb is all outdoors and uncovered.

Can beginners participate?

Yes—this event is designed for all fitness levels. You can go at your own pace and take breaks as needed.

Who should I contact if I have questions?

Reach out to your Positive Tracks coach via the email or text they provided. You can also email the program team and they can help. ([email protected])

How do I get my verified service hours?

After the Stadium Summit, we’ll send you a short survey to reflect on your experience and share feedback.

As part of the survey, you’ll be asked to report the number of hours you spent organizing and participating in the event. Once you submit that information, we’ll follow up with an official service hours letter via email.
