Positive Tracks Curriculum

The Positive Tracks Curriculum, based on six pillars, equips and supports youth of all backgrounds and abilities to make lasting change on their own terms and turf. Its sports-based framework delivers an inclusive means of connecting with peers face-to-face, so young people can explore and progress complex issues via facilitated dialogue and physical activity and games.

Specifically, curriculum components introduce youth to community organizing, and help youth develop campaigns through planning, assessment, acting, evaluating and sustaining processes, including power stakeholder analyses; developing media campaigns and milestones; and planning, executing and evaluating Positive Tracks Challenges. Once completed, youth provide mentoring support to peers interested in partnering with Positive Tracks.
