Top Tips

  1. Consider what you want people to KNOW, to FEEL and to DO.
  2. Make it easy to read from a distance
  3. Be as concise as possible.
  4. Ask yourself: What information does someone need to know to do what you’re asking of them?
  5. Include pictures!
  6. If you’re supporting an organization, include their website, logo and brief mission
  7. Add contact information for questions
  8. Add a Call to Action – what do you want people to do? Sign up, donate, learn more.
  9. Add a QR code so that people can easily sign up or learn more. Here’s a link to a free QR code generator.
  10. Include bold headers to make it easy for people to digest:
    • Title of Event
    • Date
    • Time
    • Location
    • Who’s Invited
    • Why You’re Doing This
    • Cost (if applicable)
    • Link To Learn More or Sign Up
