Ask for Sponsorship
Ask local businesses or people in your community to support your event. This is a great way to engage your local community and to keep costs down.
Essentials
- Whenever possible, make the ask in person and bring a copy of your letter with you
- Explain clearly WHY they should help you
- Show your passion for your cause
- Ask for their support not their money (even if that’s what you want!)
- Close with a heartfelt thank you
