Think Cross Fit, Boot Camp, Community Work Out Circuit…

GET ORGANIZED:

Get started with our Week-By-Week Event Planner to make your life easy.

If you’re a Team Captain, check out our toolkit that’s designed just for you and provides answers about your role as a leader.

Make a list of everything that needs to get done and by whom with our Timeline Planner. Or use a free online planner like, Trello.

YOU’LL NEED:

  1. A field in a safe location out of the way of traffic and parking lots or a large indoor room/gym
  2. Table for registration
  3. Insurance (if not covered by your school)
  4. Work out circuit plan. Here’s an online resource to get the ideas flowing. Or watch this video to see one in action.
  5. Work out equipment for your circuit. Ask your school, an athletic department or a local gym if you can borrow their equipment.
  6. Coaches for each station to show participants how to do the work out safely
  7. Cones to separate each circuit station
  8. Signs and posters for: what happens at each station/ which station to go to next
  9. Prizes
  10. Timer
  11. Bullhorn or loud friend
  12. Loud music

HOW IT GOES DOWN:

  • Collect an entry fee from each person or team.
  • Separate people into groups and by station
  • Play loud, energizing music
  • Decide on how many times a participant will do each station. Everyone starts at the same time and each station should last 30-45 seconds with 15 seconds of break in between. You can extend this break as time goes on.
  • Designate a person to keep the time and call out when to switch
  • Cheer everyone on!
