YOU’LL NEED:
- A date, time and access to a skating rink (indoor or outdoor, depending on the time of year)
- Skates for people to use if they don’t have any (if you are at a skating rink they can rent there)
- Signs and posters.
- Photographer or videographer to capture the moment.
- Music
- Concession stand (hot chocolate, anyone?) with volunteers if you want to raise some extra money for your cause.
- Event donation box and some smaller bills to make change.
- A team for set up and a team for clean up.
HOW IT GOES DOWN:
- Crank up the tunes and start skating!
- Collect an entry fee from each skater, or make this into a skate-a-thon, with skaters collecting pledges for every hour they spend on the ice.
