YOU’LL NEED:

  1. A date, time and access to a skating rink (indoor or outdoor, depending on the time of year)
  2. Skates for people to use if they don’t have any (if you are at a skating rink they can rent there)
  3. Signs and posters.
  4. Photographer or videographer to capture the moment.
  5. Music
  6. Concession stand (hot chocolate, anyone?) with volunteers if you want to raise some extra money for your cause.
  7. Event donation box and some smaller bills to make change.
  8. A team for set up and a team for clean up.

HOW IT GOES DOWN:

  1. Crank up the tunes and start skating!
  2. Collect an entry fee from each skater, or make this into a skate-a-thon, with skaters collecting pledges for every hour they spend on the ice.
