“Before COVID, my club would send summer interns to work with WOPLAH (Western Organization for HIV/AIDS), which is based in Mumias, Kenya, to support initiatives such as village banking and community farming for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Lack of education and poor access to public health resources are two of the root causes of this issue, so I decided to make WOPLAH the cause I wanted to support with my Positive Tracks Challenge. This experience was a great opportunity to educate others about our cause, get outside, and get active!”
