You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers
Q: Is there a live human I can talk to for help with registration?
A: Heck yeah! We would love to chat with you and help troubleshoot! Please contact Heather at hsomers@positivetracks.org and she’ll get back to you.
Q: Is it possible to register as an individual?
A: Definitely! You can register as an individual and tell us what team you want to be on, or we’ll add you to one. All good!
Q: I’m organizing a team, but don’t know who is joining me yet and it may be less than 10 people. How should I proceed?
A: Register yourself first and then tell your teammates when they register to share your name or your team name during the registration process. We’ll make sure everyone gets to where they need to be. No worries if you have a team with less than 10 people. We’ll make sure you join forces with others in the same boat.
Q: Can I register a full table of 10 even if I don’t know who is joining me yet?
A: Yes! If you do not know your teammates yet, we will contact you before the event to collect names and RSVPs.
Q: So just what is this event all about…and will I be required to sweat?
A: Athleticism is absolutely not expected or even rewarded. The evening consists of three team trials that equip each team to compete in a “So You Think You Can Dance” dance-off challenge for the coveted Positive Tracks Sweat For Good Games Cup. That said, dancing is absolutely optional – there are definitely other ways to participate and help your team go for gold! Long/short: If you’re in the mood for some teamwork, creativity and fun, this event will absolutely be your thing.
Q: What should I wear?
Rumor has it that teams get extra points and prizes for camaraderie, costumes and themes. BUT. . .if costumes aren’t your thing we get it, and you can wear what you’re most comfortable in! The event will be partially outside under a heated tent. The moonlit summit will not be heated (and possibly not so lit, depending on cloud coverage). Headlamps are a solid fashion choice for the summit portion.
Q: What will the hike be like, and how should I prepare?
A: The moonlit summit is 1.2 miles round trip. Should take 30-45 minutes depending on how much hot chocolate you consume at the top. We strongly recommend head lamps, sturdy shoes and clothing for an October evening in NH.
Q: Is this a family-friendly event?
A: We designed the Positive Tracks Sweat For Good Games to be an event oriented for age 21+ so that adults can experience the magic of Positive Tracks Challenges (cause-driven athletic events designed and led by ages 12-25).
Q: What does my ticket include?
A: $150 tickets include heavy appetizers, drink vouchers, trucker hats and super fun SuperMoon entertainment. $200 tickets include heavy appetizers, drink vouchers, trucker hats, summit beanies, and a super fun SuperMoon summit.
Q: Is the cost of my ticket tax-deductible?
A: Tickets for the event are not considered tax-deductible per IRS guidelines. Additional donations before, during, or after the event are fully tax deductible (and always appreciated!).
Q: I am interested in joining the event as a business and/or foundation sponsor. What are my next steps?
A: Shazam! And thank you for your interest! Please contact impact@positivetracks.org to learn more. Corporate or Foundation Sponsorships are fully deductible minus the cost of the tickets provided based on the sponsorship level.
Q: Where do the dollars accrued from this event go?
A: 100% of proceeds from the 2024 Positive Tracks Sweat For Good Games will fund Positive Tracks youth leadership development programming (aka the Positive Tracks Challenges program). Please contact us to learn more about Positive Tracks impact on young people, organizations, communities, and causes in the Upper Valley, or the purpose of the Positive Tracks Sweat For Good Games.
