Canva, PicMonkey and Adobe Spark are free online resources that make creating a poster or flyer easy with templates and art work built in. You can also keep it simple and use Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
TOP TIPS:
- Consider what you want people to KNOW, to FEEL and to DO.
- Make it easy to read from a distance
- Be as concise as possible. Ask yourself~ What information does someone need to know to do what you’re asking of them
- Include pictures!
- If you’re supporting an organization, include their website, logo and brief mission
- Add contact information for questions
- Add a Call to Action – what do you want people to do? Sign up, donate, learn more.
- Add a QR code so that people can easily sign up or learn more. Here’s a link to a free QR code generator.
- Add a Positive Tracks logo

- Include bold headers to make it easy for people to digest:
