WHO: Portland Junior Pirates (PJP ) youth teams
WHAT: Raised $4,008 for The Dempsey Center
HOW: They fundraised through event participation, plus hosted a “Shoot-A-Puck” fundraiser. Players obtained sponsors to pay a dollar denomination per puck, enabling the opportunity to make 25 shots from the blue line.
WHY: They wanted to provide experiences of “giving back to community” on top of a great time!
