BEST PART ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE: “It was cool watching friends and family get dirt on their hands to help people in need. It was super cool to see how athletics cans help a cause.”

TOUGHEST PART WAS: “Getting people to donate.”

ONE NUGGET OF ADVICE FOR OTHER MOVERS & SHAKERS: “Spend time on the presentation as first impressions often change whether people will participate and donate.”

MY CHARITY FIRES ME UP BECAUSE: “AIDS is a very prevalent problem and I have a connection to Africa, so having fun while raising money for a great cause was awesome.”

HOW MY POSITIVE TRACKS COORDINATOR HELPED ME: “Scott really helped me organize the webpage and get all of the shirts and water bottles for after the event. Without him, it would have been really hard to do.”

DEEP THOUGHT: I like watching kids my age being great at something. I love sports and would love to play professional soccer. I love soccer, but know more about basketball which is weird.

HOW DID THIS PROCESS CHANGE YOU: Charlie says, “My Dizzy Goal Challenge changed me because I had no idea of the impact sports could have on world issues. I was so surprised to see how much fun I had raising money and I would do it again in an instant. I can’t wait to see what else I can do involving sports and I want to see how far I can get.”
