It takes creativity to raise money for an athletic effort!

And Generation 23 and Under is rising to the challenge.  Positive Trackers are throwing fashion shows made out of recycled materials.  They’re organizing youth-powered soccer tournaments and Scoop the Loot lacrosse games.  They’re cycling across the country; designing jewelry; selling Halloween Insurance.  They’re organizing Battle of the Bands, art shows, Cupcake Warz, tennis clinics, Quiddich Tournaments. . .

But we’ve got nothing against bake sales.  Trust us on this – chocolate chips are our friends.  But philanthletics challenge you to explore a whole new universe of opportunities that put the fun in fundraising.  Below is a list of ideas to get your own creative juices flowing, and to get your bodies glowing.  Take a look.  Download Beyond the Bake Sale here.

As fate would have it, our Creative Design Partner, Zolo, has created an offbeat app, Q-cards that could lend you a new view, a second opinion, a fun forecaster to help you stay positive and lighthearted about your potential fundraiser.  (Sometimes shocking, always revealing, but definitely fun!)

One last thing: if you have your own ideas, don’t bogart your brilliant genius!  Send your thoughts along so we can add ’em to our list. . .
